We take privacy seriously — particularly because our product involves children. Here's exactly what we collect, what we don't, and how to remove your data.
Faunaly is a personality assessment tool for parents of children ages 3–11. We take privacy seriously — particularly because our product involves children. This policy explains exactly what we collect, what we don't, and how we use the information you share with us.
The short version: we collect information from you, the parent. We collect nothing about your child.
Faunaly is operated by The Calennial Co. LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as Faunaly, located in Orange County, California.

Faunaly is currently available to customers in the United States only. This privacy policy is written under U.S. law. If you access Faunaly from outside the U.S., you do so at your own initiative.
When you complete the Faunaly assessment, we collect the following from you, the parent or guardian:
What we do not collect: We collect no information about your child — no name, no date of birth, no gender, no photo, no school, no location. Your child is not in our system in any form.
We use the information you provide solely to:
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to operate the service, described below.
To operate Faunaly, we work with the following service providers, each of which may process limited personal information on our behalf:
Each provider operates under its own privacy policy and contractual data protection terms. We select providers with strong privacy and security standards, and we share only the minimum information needed for them to perform their function.
Faunaly is designed for parents and guardians. The service is completed by adults on behalf of their children. We do not collect any personal information from children under 13, and we do not direct our service at children directly.
Because the parent or guardian is the user and the data subject, Faunaly's design is consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at hello@faunaly.com and we will delete it promptly.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you specific rights regarding your personal information:
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@faunaly.com.
We retain your email address and assessment responses for as long as necessary to deliver your report and honor reassessment reminders. You may request deletion at any time.
You have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@faunaly.com. We will respond within 7 business days. Because we do not create user accounts, data deletion is permanent — you will not be able to recover past reports after removal.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access-restricted storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
We may update this policy as our product evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Faunaly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
